For almost 20 years, my family and I have been camping all around California and even at the Grand Canyon once. The tradition was started by my father with our first visit at Yosemite National Park, Toulume Meadows. On this trip, we knocked out two things in celebrating my younger brother Jeremy’s 21st birthday and a good old family time. It’s been about a year since the last time we’ve gone camping, being way overdue to hang and relax with the family and a sprinkle of fresh air which is never a bad thing.

These are the photos I took of Mr. Ferdinand Dizon for the Filipino Documentary series I’m doing. His story is about his first job here in the U.S. which became a long time career in retail. He is currently managing Shiekh Shoes, San Francisco.

Today we went to Halfmoon Bay Beach and played around in the sun, touched the cold water and enjoyed each other’s company. We also tried to get muzzy a tad wet but he was not having it. haha! Really loved how the day came out with the family because there isn’t really anything like it bonding with people that you love to hate and hate to love. These are one of those rare moments that I was very happy that I was able to take a butt-load of photos.

Contessa who was so beautiful and Paul a french stud joined forces in marriage on May 24th at the beautiful WildWoodAcres in Lafayette, California. Though it got a bit cold that day, it still became a beautiful wedding. I enjoyed working with them because they were so easily photographed.
